The WPT FireFly-SNAP (Series 300) Closure is molded from high-impact-resistant plastic which is also U.V. resistant and immune to temperature extremes. The closure is highly versatile, with 4 cable entry and exit ports to accommodate cable diameters ranging from 6mm to 19mm. Industry-standard “B” sealing tape is used to ensure a positive seal in all environments. Up to 96 fiber optic fusion or mechanical splices may be housed and protected by our FireFly-SNAP closure. Underneath the low-profile splice trays is a sufficient amount of room to store 2.5 to 3 meters of buffer tubes. Adhering to the IP68 standard, the FireFly-SNAP closure is completely dust-tight and can be immersed in water continuously under specific conditions without any negative impact on its functionality or performance.
