5.13 For PIC cable, install hose clamps approximately 10 inches from the injection fitting  center on both sides.  Make as tight as possible without damaging the outer sheath.

6. COMPOUND INJECTION AND QUANTITY REQUIREMENTS

6.1 Remove the red end cap and the tape band from the Semkit®cartridge.  Care should be taken not to disturb the foil barrier or mix rod at this time.  Unscrew the retaining ring from the injection gun.  Place the ring over the top of the cartridge.

6.2 Pull the mixing rod straight up towards the top of the cartridge.  Squeeze the cartridge lightly in the area of the removed tape band to deform the foil barrier
