HEATSHRINK DISTRIBUTION SPLICE CLOSURE

The WPUC has been developed by Western Pacific Telecommunications, combining the advantages of  re-enterable dome and clamp closures with the ease of installation, speed and reliability of Western Pacific heat-shrinkable closures.

FEATURES:

The WPUC accomodates main, looped cables of 20 to 100 pairs.  Additional capacity for up to 8 more cables from 2 to 20 pairs which can be added when necessary.  The traditional dome and ring clamp design provides ease of access for testing, installation of additional cables or reconfiguration.  The mounting bracket's versatility enables the WPUC to be mounted in footway boxes or on poles.  The low temperature recovery material combined with an adapted sleeve for heat protection during installation, eliminates potential damage to small cables.
